    I think that’s not too far off the truth to be honest the UK used to be very very tax realegtud and they did some things that killed off industry, for example they taxed services higher than manufacturing and it killed off a lot of their service industry. I think the current thinking is that it’s better to have these big dodgy businesses and get something out of them (income tax from employees, economic activity, etc.) than it is to lose them to another country I think the shenanigans of the pre-GCF era will quietly come back too, bad as they were they were enormously profitable and as many tax havens can tell you it’s good to have rich people around even if they only spill a bit of their cash in the process. Ironically the tax clampdowns in Italy, France and perhaps even Greece may drive more activity to the UK; they’re tipped to do better than the rest of Europe in 2013.VN:F [1.9.22_1171](from 0 votes)
